Consultant Positions Available

1. Assistant Procurement & Contract Management Specialist

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree equivalent to at least sixteen years of education in one of the following fields:
  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management
  • Business Management
  • Project Management
  • Engineering
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Social Sciences

Experience:

  • Minimum seven (07) years of experience in procurement and contract management of goods, works, and consulting services.
  • Post-contract activities administration experience, including dispute resolution experience.
  • Good knowledge of World Bank and Public Procurement rules, administrative systems, and procedures.

Skills:

  • Written and oral fluency in English.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Experience with e-procurement applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2. Assistant Procurement Specialist

Selection Criteria

  • The selection process will be conducted as per the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018).
  • Attention is drawn to Sections III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations regarding conflict of interest policies.
  • Selection will be carried out using the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants method.
