Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Law and Justice, you will:
- Provide expert advice on legal, regulatory, and strategic issues.
- Address technical and financial challenges, including privatization of state assets.
- Interpret and implement international and domestic laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate domestic, international, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure compliance with national and international legal standards.
- Offer legal guidance on legislative, corporate, and judicial matters.
- Attend and contribute to meetings of committees and sub-committees, including Cabinet Committees.
This role involves critical decision-making and offers the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across various sectors at the national and international levels.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- LLM or Bar-at-Law from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized local or international university.
Professional Experience
- At least 15 years of legal experience in opinion and advisory roles.
- A minimum of 10 years in senior executive positions within the public sector, preferably with the Federal Government.
