Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), is a leading public sector utility company engaged in the electricity distribution business. HESCO operates in 13 districts of Southern Sindh (excluding Karachi) with a workforce of over 10,000 employees.
To support the upcoming Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM) framework, HESCO has established MIRAD (Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department), led by the Director General (MIRAD).
HESCO is looking for a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced candidate to fill the Director General (MIRAD) position at its Head Office in Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- Master’s degree will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contract management, regulatory affairs, and legal matters.
- Knowledge of competitive electricity markets is an added advantage.
Age Limit
- Maximum 55 years at the time of application submission.
Job Type & Benefits
- Initial contract for 3 years, subject to annual performance reviews by the HESCO Board of Directors.
